CIRLCE OF HOPE'S NEW OUTREACH CENTER
Our Story
Initially offering a safe haven for those escaping dangerous situations, over the past 35 years, we've expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of families. In 1997 we introduced outreach services to support individuals who didn't require shelter. Additionally, we now operate four supportive housing programs, further enriching our comprehensive service approach. Our shelter, outreach, and housing programs collectively offer a wide range of services to support, empower, and bring hope to those affected by domestic violence.
Growing NeedÂ
As awareness of domestic violence has risen, so has the demand for outreach services. We currently lease two office spaces in Cornelia to accommodate programs and staff. In October 2022, the board of directors, driven by a strategic initiative to decrease operating costs, chose facility ownership over ongoing leasing, aiming to enhance resource allocation and ensure long-term financial stability. Moreover, ensuring the safety and confidentiality of those utilizing our service is paramount, requiring protection through security doors, cameras, and confidential parking to safeguard both survivors and staff.
Circle of Hope humbly requests your assistance in meeting a Serving Others Under One Roof campaign goal of $550,000. Your partnership will support the construction of our innovative outreach center designed to serve the increasing needs of our community. Your gift presents a unique occasion to be permanently recognized on the 'Partners in HOPE' donor wall located in the entry foyer. Your support is an investment in transforming countless families' lives, guiding them from fear and abuse to safety and stability.
There are variety of ways to support our Supporting Others Under One Roof campaign financially. Making a gift by cash, check, or credit card goes immediately into our building fund. Gifts may be pledged over three years. If you desire, we can accommodate recurring credit card charges at intervals you select. Georgia Mountain Women's Center, Inc. dba Circle of Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization – Tax ID 58-1766060.
